For the owner of the Web Site, a Content Management System means that once the site has been set up you are no longer dependent on a Web Developer for every little change to the web site. You can add new pages, update content and even set up when a page will no longer be available on your web site. Depending on the setup, any new pages can automatically appear in the menu on your website.

The infrastructure used is:

• MYSQL database (this stores data and configuration for the web site)
• MODx (this is an open source Content Management System)
• Style Sheets (these determine colours, page layouts, menu layouts and so on for the web site)
• FCKEditor (this is a great web browser based editor so you don't have to know HTML to create new pages or update old ones)
• Other components as required such as PHP Bulletin Board

This means that we are able to provide a very cost effective web solution for you with maximum flexibility and minimum cost. Because the web site is template and style sheet driven, it is relatively easy to update the look and feel of the site as required.
